Photographer/Artist
I find the two careers are intermingled with each other. I use photography to capture the image I am creating on canvas,
but also as my way of seeing the world around me. I still use black and white film and usually develop the prints in a
light-sealed darkroom known as a bathroom until I can build my own darkroom. I am slowly making my way into the digital
age, but I still find the crispness I get from film photography lacking in the digital cameras I have tested
out.
I had to split my photography portfolio into a few flash slide shows because my first effort was taking too long to load.
The labels on those slide shows are People, Mirrors and Trails.
One of my self-portrait segments in photography was taken in a luxurious bathroom that had a three mirror vanity cabinet.
These mirrors were always a fascination for me so I set up my camera and shot away!
My camera and I are a matched set. Most days I and my buddy are taking photographs for many things, but mostly they are
memories of a day well lived.
Long life to you and yours!
