Hi All! Yes, it's that time of year again as the sun rounds the Earth. It's been a time of clearing clutter so I can set up my easel to finish off one of my large paintings. And yes, it's my Peggy's Cove one.

I still am a perfectionist and I'm trying to recreate the one I had sold years ago. So, this one needs a bit more green in my eyes.

I've been working on this painting in spurts, and bits of time when I could, or when the mood struck me to paint. An artist's life such as mine has been such a rollercoaster that the waves on the water in this painting aren't high enough to accommodate the feeling! *laughs*

So, while I get back into a groove of sorts I'll leave these words from my idol:

“Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successfull personality and duplicate it.”
― Bruce Lee

 Hello All!

I found those 3 images of the completed watercolours and as you can see, two of them were posted already in my portfolio!

The third one was my very first watercolour of considerable size, and of course I was still working through perspective at that time. This painting is in a private collection.

And with that I leave you to peruse my website while I rebuild and add new things.

Enjoy!

 Hello all!

Today is the day where I start the migration of my domain name to my blog. Here's hoping things go smoothly. I expect that there will be hiccups and other issues, so please bear with me.

So, while that is going on I will leave you with this image of one of my other watercolour paintings. It is, as with the previous post's one, a work in progress. I do have images of 3 that were completed and will find them to add to my blog.

Enjoy!

Well, I spent most of the day getting this set up and now I am onto re-adding content. So, with this post I am updating with one of my watercolour paintings I had started way back in 2012. I had started this up with the intention of putting together a set of cards to sell.

Every Spring the first bird I would see is a robin, and I set this one up within a winter theme because I had seen one in the first snowfall one year.

The painting isn't quite done because of the many life challenges I have been going through.

We are going through a process of change here at animatedlady.com and first up is a new location! I decided to merge everything into my blog to make it easier to find all my art. Hopefully I'll be able to keep you up to date with everything in my world as time marches on.

Thank you for dropping by or just peeking in from time to time.
